A girl I know that has a tank, says she has goldfish with different fish in her tank. Her tank is a little wider than mine..maybe a tad larger than a 5 gallon. Also..How big do Guppies grow?

How long should I wait before I change the water? And how much water should I remove? (5 gallon tank). When it's time, I really want to remove all the water, and clean all the decorations, and of course the gravel.

I fed them a few frozen peas. I put them in a dish of water, and took the shells off. They really seemed to enjoy the peas.

The Ammo Lock detoxifies the ammonia it says, dosn't get rid of it. The store didn't have Amquel.

I have a friend whose friend has told her that she can safely keep two goldfish in 1.5 gallons of water,...And I say that with goldfish, that that is an unhealthy practice. What say you folks? ~Papa Red.

Goldfish are fine at lower temps in the winter. If your water temp drops below 60-55 degrees cut way back on feeding them and they will be fine. After all many goldfish live outside in ponds year round. I don't use heaters in any of my tanks and they are just fine. Stable
