hi well i finally got a guinea pig she is apparently 1 month old saw that she is a female but unnamed right nowshe is a white and rusty rosette she loves to be handle but loves to pull on the hair

If you bred a silkie (long hair) with a short haired guinea, what would the babies look like? Would they have long hair, short hair, or an in-between length? Would it matter if the mother or the father was the one with long hair? Just curious about cavy genetics, I guess...

My piggy has some eye problem. In the middle of the eye has a white spot-like some protein deposit or something. I took him to the vet today,and my vet said: " he never seen before this on the pigs ,only on the older dogs-and that was a protein deposit."
