Re : Daisy and eye injury30 Nov 2003 23:11 GMT3
Hi group,
It's me again and an update of eye injury info.
I just went to Dr. Gurney's web site

pomegranate?30 Nov 2003 22:57 GMT2
Does anyone here know if it's okay to feed guinea pigs pomegranate?  The
outside of the fruit light red and sometimes yellow if unripe, and when you
cut them open they are full of juicy, dark red seeds (that is the part you
eat).  I eat them frequently, and one day I had them in my ...
Dutch Breeders30 Nov 2003 12:07 GMT7
Are there any Dutch breeders here? I may want to have kids by Monster
so something will be here when he dies. But I don't want like 4
piggies! I would need only 1 perhaps 2.
introducing two new piggies29 Nov 2003 13:44 GMT1
I have two female guinea pigs (age 2,5 months).
I am thinking about getting another pair of females.
These two new females will be living in their own cage, as I have my
two "old" ones in their own cage.

I have often thought it would be fun to write a short story through
the eyes of a piggy...sort of 'Welcome to my World' or 'A Day in the
Life of .....' Indeed i may do so next winter. Does anyone know of such
a story.....or has anyone written something like this....if so i would
Their noises27 Nov 2003 22:50 GMT7
We are now getting Starburst out of his hutch every evening for social time,
which consists of him sitting on a towel on our laps being stroked and
tickled.  We think he likes it, because he makes constant little squeaks and
whistles, and occasionally, if we hit just the right spot ...

What is "popcorning"?26 Nov 2003 05:11 GMT8
I hope I have that word right.
I'm taking care of a friend's guinea pig for a week while he's out of town
for a week. I've been reading things on the web and here in usenet about
them. One term I've come across a few times is "popcorning". Is that when

I am trying to breed my guineas and the female keeps bitting the males
bum and chasing him around.  Is this normal, why is she doing this?  I
am taking them both out of their cages and putting them into a
completely different area.  Help please!

Vitamin C?24 Nov 2003 23:02 GMT10
How do I get Princess to eat her vitamin C tablets?  She won't eat the
tablet I put in yesterday, and that container cost a pretty penny...
Any ideas as to how I can make it more palatable?  I really would like
her to eat it; I think it will really make her coat a lot brighter and ...
Bigger not always better when it comes to cages....24 Nov 2003 00:56 GMT1
Just a quick post.
I have two piggies, that don't seem to get along very well. One is mostly
submissive, and the other is very dominant (Milikan). Anyways, I think the
submissive one (Stokes) may have been taken from his mom a little too soon,
