hey im new to the news group I have 5 brothers and 3 slaves  just
looking for ppl to talk to

I was wondering if guinea pigs can munch on cannabis stems and leaves.

My daughters have two pigs-Twilight and Skeeter (both male).  Lately
Twilight has taken to gnawing on Skeeter whenever he gets a chance.  Any
suggestions on why he has suddenly decided to snack on his cage mate, as
well as how to make it end would be appreciated.

Someone heard I was looking into Guinea pigs & Ditched 5 pigs on me!!! I don't
mind, they are all really cute BUT:
1) How can you tell if a female is pregnant??? These were males & Females all
together & although they are very young they are still at they age where they

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get two wonderful
Abyssinians from a local guinea pig rescue. One of them, YinYang, is
very active and outgoing, as she had friends to play with growing up,
while the other one, Abbie, was raised alone in a wire-bottomed cage.

This was bad.Nobody at home, somehow the cage was open , the dog (a
huge Doberman) got them and ate both.

We have two hutches adjacent to each other, girls in one and boys in the

The piggies generally get to go play in their playpen for a couple
hours daily.  Today, as usual, I took Gabby out of the cage and set
her down on a towel on the floor - flipped the towel up over her so

My daughter and I have had our first guinea pig, Rusty, for about a
month now, and we have been using CareFresh bedding (the bedding that
is kinda like cardboard paper shavings).  We used CareFresh for a
dwarf hamster in the past, and it worked fine.  However, because of

sound congested and wheezy when he breathes and sneezes occasionally.  Can
