My daughters have two pigs-Twilight and Skeeter (both male). Lately Twilight has taken to gnawing on Skeeter whenever he gets a chance. Any suggestions on why he has suddenly decided to snack on his cage mate, as well as how to make it end would be appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get two wonderful Abyssinians from a local guinea pig rescue. One of them, YinYang, is very active and outgoing, as she had friends to play with growing up, while the other one, Abbie, was raised alone in a wire-bottomed cage.

Howdy! My husband and I are having a problem with a pair of intact males who were good cage-mates when we adopted them together as an established pair, but have developed dominance issues serious enough that we have

Shopping the other week, I found a rather nice bunch of grapes, which I bought as a snack for these past few days. Of course, most fruit/veg I have, the piggies sample too. So I tried them on grapes this morning. Weeble won't go near them (she's usually a very scaredypig, and even ...

| I Lost Gabby! :) | 10 Feb 2004 05:57 GMT | 5 |
The piggies generally get to go play in their playpen for a couple hours daily. Today, as usual, I took Gabby out of the cage and set her down on a towel on the floor - flipped the towel up over her so she'd feel safe, and turned my back to get Jojo. I do this every day,

My daughter and I have had our first guinea pig, Rusty, for about a month now, and we have been using CareFresh bedding (the bedding that is kinda like cardboard paper shavings). We used CareFresh for a dwarf hamster in the past, and it worked fine. However, because of
