I'm really glad that most of the people in here have been nice. I think
that the comments about not feeding trolls (whoever they were meant for)
are very true. Of course I think anybody knows that when somebody seems
ignorant and attacks other people with no validity and no ...
cubes and coroplast29 Aug 2004 18:32 GMT9
If you make a cage out of cubes and coroplast, should it be raised off
the floor? In the pictures I've seen it looks like they aren't but that
may be due to bad perspective.
Thanks in advance,

Ella (http://users.durge.org/~stu-stu/gps/EllaJuly04.JPG and
http://users.durge.org/~stu-stu/gps/Ella2July04.JPG), the smallest of my
piggies, and noisiest, had to be euphonised on Thursday night after suddenly
becoming visibly very ill.  She had stopped drinking or eating and ...
i don't get it28 Aug 2004 04:12 GMT1
I'm not sure who this bubba test person is...or the robin marin person
either... and in a lot of ways I really don't care.    i thought that
this forum was for discussion of all things relevant to the care, love
and protection of guinea pigs.   Not for discussions of NAMBLA or
Piggies and Vets..27 Aug 2004 21:12 GMT6
Was wondering what the average cost was for a check up....Pokey seems to

Following the sad passing away of our GP Cahrlie I have a brand new
unused, unopened box of Oxbow hay for sale. It's a real treat for any
pig - our Charlie loved the stuff.
Please be aware this is a 9kg box, it'll cost a bomb to post and so

Infested Vitakraft26 Aug 2004 22:11 GMT8
I have a good friend who does guinea pig rescue in her home. She has a
total of about 75 well kept in cages throughout her house. Recently she
had noticed some maggot infestation in the cages and had two unexplained
deaths. She managed to find her supply of Vitakraft Nibble ...
Treatment Question - Selamectin?26 Aug 2004 21:43 GMT1
Just a quick question to see if anyone had ever had a guinea pig treated
with the above drug.  I have 3 months supply of Stonghold (the product name,
the drug name is Selamectin) to be applied to the skin on the back of her
neck.  One of the side effects is hair loss at the site of ...
Don't feed the trolls.26 Aug 2004 21:25 GMT1
Waste of time, energy and wit. Especially as  they can't spell "humour"
properly.  :)

Zoozone2 - ventilation26 Aug 2004 01:28 GMT3
I've decided to upgrade my G.P's home/pen/cage to something much
larger so she can have loads of room to walk about. Her previous cage
was smaller and unfortunately had a wire base. Don't worry, I know
it's a bad thing so there was always a solid cover over it so she

my latest pair are called Whistler and Blackcomb, and as always they've
got their own little characters. It was through keeping ...
