| not using front leg | 30 Dec 2004 21:03 GMT | 2 |
I suddenly noticed that Sebastiaan is limping, he's not using his right forepaw. I checked for swelling, heat or redness, but no signs of inflammation. It happened really sudden, because I cuddled with him earlier today and he was still fine then. I called the vet and she advised me ...

| Kwik Stop Styptic Nail Power | 29 Dec 2004 22:03 GMT | 9 |
I just got MY fresh supply Kwik Stop Styptic Powder in the mail for Scooter--was running short because of someone else's having so many piggies that I've had to clip the nails on (and spilling it accidentally).

Our Cinder had her litter today--FOUR guineas. One sow and three boars. The sow is named Lily, and the boars are named Popcorn, Parsley, and Pipsqueak (the smallest one). They are SO CUTE! I didn't get to witness the birth, but came in shortly thereafter and saw a

Do guinea pigs have to have some sort of gnawing post for their teeth? I ask because one of mine has taken to chewing against the wooden house box ( the sleeping box) in their cage.

| Scooter..... | 23 Dec 2004 20:40 GMT | 8 |
Scooter likes being in bed (behind my knees) with me as long as I leave him alone and let him settle himself in. I had to finally get him to his home to use the "toilet". I suppose he liked the warm spot he had. Stayed there a long time.....Carful not to roll on him

| doggy/piggy friendship? | 21 Dec 2004 06:03 GMT | 9 |
This group was quite helpful re: my preggie piggy, so I thought I would put another matter before you. Can dogs and guinea pigs be friends? I have two female piggies, and two dogs. The female dog, Pepper, is quite interested in the piggies... and

| Kale | 20 Dec 2004 23:30 GMT | 3 |
We've got some left over in the fridge because I ordered to much for a recipe....It's probably not going to get used, so I was wondering if it's okay for pigs to eat. They love lettuce, and though the taste is a bit different, I can't think of any reason that it would be unsafe.
