I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Just seen an ad in the paper for
Hamley's Toy Shop, London. Selling battery operated toy guineapigs complete
with little kennels of hay. Either:
Children will at least practice on the inanimate and therefore the living

I bought a guinea pig for my daughter for Christmas and I'm looking for a
cage for the little guy. Peanut is his name. If anyone has a cage to sell of

Fleas will take over your house when you own guinea-pigs, so better
throw them away or the fleas will eat you, too !

Yes, Dogs and piggies can do just fine together.
I had a shepherd cross who used to cuddle up with them on the couch,
claimed the babies as her own, sulked when I found them new homes, and
cleaned up after them when they had floor time.  She would carry them

OK!  I am nearly convinced about this fleece idea.  I was out Christmas
shopping and my wife insisted on going to a fabric store.  They had
loads of fleece fabric on sale in their scrape piles.  So what do I do?

We now have two guinea pigs. My younger daughter named the big agouti grey
one "Marquis de Lafayette" as she is a big fan of the history of the
