I have to put Nell and Flo outside in a hutch for a few days whilst the
landlady is inspecting.  To this end I bought a reasonably sized hutch
today, but it needs sealing with preservative.  Does anyone know which
types of preservative are guinea-pig and environment friendly?

Could someone please tell me what the bare patch is at the end/base of the

Whist holding George yesterday, I did a routine check around him and
discovered a small pea sized lump on the lower part of his abdomen not far

Hi. Does anyone have any hints on trimming piggies nails? I usually go to
the  groomers. They do a good job but it cost $10.00. With two piggies
that's  20 dollars every three weeks or so.

I got two younger males DIllen and Riley.  I have had them about a
week.......
Scooter (male) is great with them---he is bigger so they "mind their
manners" or Scooter pops 'em one in the snoot...lol

I read somewhere that piggies are lactos intolerant. True? Would cheese
hurt my Pokey or just give him gas..or worse?

I've been attempting to tame Katonia since last Wednesday (March 9).
The preschool I go to in the mornings (with my client) will be doing a
unit on pets sometime this spring, and I offered to bring in my girls.
Then I realized that I don't actually have a cage big enough for both ...

We have a 4 year old yellow lab.  We haven't introduced her to the new GP
yet (although she's sniffing us a lot).  She'll probably whine and cry and
paw at him.  I would love for them to become pals, but I realize it may not
work.  Any stories to share about how best to do it?
