Just a wee note to say I got hold of some cubes via eBay AT LAST!!! Then I was most displeased to go to the DIY shop today (B&Q for all you UK folks) to find the cubes for £6 less than I paid for them. BLAH!! Nonetheless, I've been planning the cage for days now. I gave up on ...

Was at the PetCetera today with the kiddo I work with doing respite. Decided, finally, after careful evaluation of their stock and the piggies' living arrangements, that I will never buy from them and I'm going to try to get my charge to be okay with going to PetLand from now

One of our piggies, Rocket, developed an abcess on his bottom. It came up very very quickly to a large hot lump. The emergency vet drained and flushed it and gave us some liquid to continue flushing the wound for several days. Its a dreadful horrible thing to have to do as the ...

I didn't think that this was a lot to worry about, but it really scares me. Just in case you guys were wondering, I'm 10 years old. I asked my dad if i could take Ceasar to the vet, but he said that i would have to find out more about it. I am really worried about my baby, I ...

| Update on Taryn. . previously Urgent. .Help! | 16 Apr 2005 02:27 GMT | 11 |
The vet called me late this morning and they found a pocket of gas in her intestines. They gave her a banamine injection (for the pain) and put her on sulfa/trimethoprim antibiotics. I'm supposed to keep her on that for 10 days. He said the prognosis was "guarded." He gave her

| Skin Advice | 14 Apr 2005 16:39 GMT | 5 |
I have just cleaned my piggies out and noticed that one of them is losing a lot of white fur from a patch on his back. I have taken them to the vets before about this problem and he gave them a couple of injections and it seemed to cure the problem.

| Drinking Too Much Water? | 13 Apr 2005 21:54 GMT | 8 |
We've noticed that over the past couple of days, Pickle seems to be drinking a lot more than usual. Nothing has changed in his surroundings, such as temperature etc and I was wondering if it's anything to worry about? He's still quite perky and doesn't seem at all ill, but I ...
