I recently lost Pip due to kidney failure and have today recieved two

Now I hear that Timothy Hay is a staple of their diet.  Which do you

My 4-year-old female gets this white crust-like formation [coating?] on her

in a couple of weeks. Any help / information appreciated. --K

Dandruff03 Apr 2005 04:52 GMT6

he'd been sitting on a black surface that after he left there was quite much
dandruff on it. What to do?
RIP Pipsqueak02 Apr 2005 15:45 GMT2
Hi guys and gals,
Pip, also known as the BFG (Big Friendly Guinea-Pig) died last night at
10:45pm :(  It appears to be the same thing as killed Fudge and Hattie
not long ago; but we are still none the wiser as to what is causing it.
Rip Priya02 Apr 2005 07:38 GMT2
My baby died of old age (7 years).  It was amazing how long she lived, but I
knew it was coming.  Oh well, I'll have to find Ceasar a new buddy.
Friendly males now fighting02 Apr 2005 04:04 GMT10
I have 2 male piggies - Gordon age 6 and a half and Shaggy age 2, who
live happily with big white rabbit Pouncy. Just recently a neighbour
"borrowed" Shaggy for a couple of weeks to put with her female for
mating. The job done, Shaggy came home - and now attacks poor old man
Pigs Soil Under Their Igloo's01 Apr 2005 18:18 GMT9
How can I get my pigs to stop soiling under their igloo's? We have them
in the kitchen in an open-top cage with two plastic igloo's. Every day
when I clean up the soiled spots, it's always under the igloos. The
pigs are both female. We use CareFresh bedding, 1-2 inches thick across
I know we've talked about this before at some point, but...01 Apr 2005 06:42 GMT2
...apparently Princess is in heat.  Never seen it before.
Katonia did mount her at one point, which was weird to see!  (Especially
since they're both female.)
Should I separate them, as Princess is also acting a tad aggressive when
