I was in Petsmart today and say a hairless guinea pig labelled as "Skinny
Pig".  Apart from a few bristles on it's nose it was completely hairless,
and very cute!  Does anyone know if these animals are good for peole with
allergies?

My daughter had two guinea pigs. Although we where told by a vet that she
had two females, this turned out to be wrong (or a miracle). They had pups
and everything was going well until about 6 or 7 week.
We went to feed them in the morning as usual when to our horror we

My five month old gp Hazel has hurt her left front leg, it started last

Hi group,
Just a quick line to share the latest developments with you. I have one (now
neutered) boar (Sebastian) and three sows. Two of them are Sebastian's
daughters from the same litter, so they're sisters. I used to have all three

I have just visited my eight or so guinea pigs all sitting pretty in their
cage ready to be fed.
One of my female guinea pigs was looking a  bit dishevelled and on closer
inspection found a white lump sitting on her coat. I checked this lump which

I just got two female guinea pigs.  When they pee where we can see it (in a
basket while changing their cage)  the urine is a milky yellowish white
color.  Is this normal?
