Seems the larger gp was hassling the smaller one again last night,
pushing with her nose, trying to stand on the smaller ones side, etc.
It's weird (or I'm just not used to it) but just yesterday you'll find
them snuggling and sleeping together like the best of friends.

i am getting a new guinea pig and i cant think of a name, any ideas?

I am moving to Louisville, KY from Fort Wayne, IN. It is a 4 hour drive and
my Explorer is packed with stuff. Unfortunately U-Haul won't rent a trailer
for any Explorer nor rent a truck to tow an Explorer. I have no choice than

My Guinea pig gave birth last night to 3 babies.
There appears to be a weaker one, smaller and the mother does not seem
to be paying it any attention, ie feeding...
Is there anyway i could save this one, at the moment it is just lying

So I just got a new job - salary, guaranteed income, etc.  First order of
buisiness re: the pigs is to build their glorious C&C cage.  It'll have to
be divided at first, of course - Nappy's still intact!
And that leads to the second order of business re: the pigs.

We're new to guinea pigs.  I do volunteer work for DFW Wildlife & ended up
adopting an abandoned, pregnant, guinea pig, Domino.  I now have 3 babies 3
weeks old who are doing great & looking to place them with loving, caring,

Again my GPs are misbehaving and one of them got hurt. She has a deep cut on
her lip. The cut is dry and found it today at 11pm. I believe it was from a
fight, because there is nothing in the cage that could have caused that deep
cut on her.

My daughter is allergic to our guinea pig and we must give it away.  We
would include the cage and other supplies.  The guinea pig is female
and 6 months old.  We live in the Bathurst/Finch area of Toronto.

Went to check on our two female guinea pigs this evening and disturbed a
field mouse mooching about in the bottom run section of the hutch.   As I
opened the front panel it shot out, no idea how it got in there, the cage
mesh is only 1cm square?

 Hi all, I am the mostly-happy new owner of two male rescued albinos.  The
girl who rescued them had them in a 30-gallon aquarium together so i guess
you could say they've been rescued twice.  =)  I thought I would describe my
temporary setup and ask some questions.

My piggies are fighting each other every day. We have three and already
separated the most problematic by inserting a divider in the cage. Now, the
other two are pulling their fur off and I don't really want to add another
divider. Plus, I found yesterday that they still fight ...

My little Piggles quietly passed away 3.25am this morning.
The cutest little pig ever, my special friend.
Gentle and sweet in leaving, as it was in life.
