So, my hubbie worked hard to build it, and I worked to figure out what
they needed to make it home for them.   And we have happy piggies!
Our boys are on the upper level, the girls on the lower and we have
sawdust on the floor from popcorning piggies!    It's nice to see them

My daughter's two piggies have been getting a daily mix of 4-5
different veggies and fruit along with the pellets and hay. Is this
really necessary?  Could they get by with this say 3 times a week
instead of every day?  they seem to be leaving the greens and I'm
I'm a father (sort of)23 Oct 2005 02:15 GMT2
About a month ago, I bought 2 guinea pigs.  One was 5 weeks old-the
male, and the other was about 7 month old-the female.  Little did I know
that the female was in her early stages of being pregnant.  She (Hutch)
got bigger and bigger, in my small apartment.  The other male ...
One pig larger than the other - ok?19 Oct 2005 17:22 GMT5
we have two females roughly 6 months old. One has grown decidedly

Leaving Piggies Unattended12 Oct 2005 23:46 GMT8
Here's a question for the group:
How long have you ever left your piggies unattended?
Other than being gone during the day, we had never left our piggie
unattended. If we were going to be gone overnight or for a weekend we
Breakfast cereal for piggies?12 Oct 2005 06:58 GMT6
Anyone tried Cheerios, Chex, etc?
My son wanted to try out Captain Crunch on them this morning so I
thought I'd kick around the idea of feeding them the
good, healthy, kinds..
Our Piggie Died ... Trying to Understand Why10 Oct 2005 15:21 GMT10
Our piggie died last week and the whole family is very sad. I held him
wrapped in a blanket in my arms as he was dying. We have been piecing
together what may have happened or lead up to this and could use some
help trying to understand what went wrong.
Coroplast cage trays ok?07 Oct 2005 10:18 GMT7
I thought I read here somewhere that it was not the best for  cage
tray.  Looking for ways to make a larger cage, The Container Store,
Home Depot, etc have some good metal shelving that can be adapted for
walls but the tray is the big problem I need to overcome.
