Any other vitamin c except orange  and citrus fruit my girls don,t like
them. I worry if they are not getting enough.They don,t like root vegetables
either.

OK, I have had my 2 rescued adult males for a few months and they seem fine.
They are on my vinyl kitchen floor, on top of towels, in a 3x4'
playpen-fence, until I can get a kiddie pool.  They have redundant water
bottles and gravity feeders.  But now I need to know about more ...

I just a female cavy that is puportedly 2-3 months old. Is she too young to
breed?

Morning all
I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had trouble with a guinea pig
that bites.  We have had a few guinea pigs over the years and they have all
be so lovely and no problem.

hi i am a cavy lover from australia, ive had guineapigs all my life but am
now temporarily guineapig-less due to a biiig move. i was fortunate to find
a good home for my babies with two little girls and a good mum so i was
happy for them...but i miss my piggies!!! especially the ...

We have a young cavy about 3 weeks old, and today, his rear area is
extended and bloody.  I think it is his rectum?  The wife has tried to
clean it, and he doesn't appear to be in pain.  I have searched all
over the internet, and have come up with nothing.

I have had my guinea pig Flower for about 6 months now.  We really love her.
Today we went to the SPCA to look for some rabbits (which we found), they
also had two really sweet guinea pigs.  One of them is kind of small, black,
with longish hair.  He is adorable.  The other one ...

About 3 weeks ago (Saturday 10/22), 3 baby guinea pigs were born.And
now that I have determined their sex, it is time to seperate them.  Two
are male and one is a female.  I decided to keep them all for the time
being. In addition to the 3 young runts, there is the mother who is 8

I wonder if my snake can digest them or will guinea-pigs cause
indegestion or flatulence???

A question for the group:  Can guinea pigs catch any of the above bugs from
a human?
Every year it's a guarantee that I'll catch one or more of those nasties at
least twice & I don't wanna give it to my little piggy.
