I just had to share. . . One of my boys, Exodia, was diagnosed with
kidney failure.  My husband and I are so sad.  His specific urine
gravity is about 1015 and we're not sure how long he has.  He's still
acting like his same 'ole self, so we're hoping he still has a while

We have always given our guinea pigs pellets from KAYTEE that are just
regular pellets for guinea pigs with no treats added.  Ingredients
indicate they are alphalfa based.  We have recently had the need to
visit a small critter vet, who has given us a list of veggies that are

We noticed tonight that our guinea pig likes to lick my ds.  Is this
common?

Our two year old guinea pig has developed lumps.  We first discovered
on her belly, and now about 4 mos. later, there are many more.  She is
eating, playing and acting normal.  They don't appear to bother her.
We have been to two vets.  One thought perhaps cancerour bumps and if

we got them a pound of treats and snacks from Petco.....

Daisy seemed to be getting better with her new Mega-Vitamin drops and I
did add the Vit C tabs, but I just found a new scaly patch on her left
shoulder this morning.

I took my sweet Exodia to the vet today.  He is about 3 years old and

Hello dear group,
Last  night I had quite the fright!  Daisy had been rather quiet all
day long...not paying a lot of attention to breakfast, snack time,
lunch time, snack time....but still eating...

Riley does a "doggie stretch"  ......
He lays with his front feet sticking out so far that you can see them
Like a dog when his feet are out in front of him.
Scooter uses his bowl for a "pillow"--to rest his head

I have been signing Flash and Ginger on this group for 5 years now.  But no

this has been an ongoing situation btwn my two pigs, one submissive,
one aggressive. I had thought that I could use a larger cage and that
might end the problem. now they are in a too small cage....but they
still had some of the same problems in a larger cage.
