Hot Weather for piggies here in the SF Bay Area!26 Jul 2006 12:49 GMT2
I let the piggies run around in a half inch of water in the bath tub.

sat there, not sure what to do.
so sad/silly to see them try and climb up the smooth walls and slide
Tips for Introducing a 3rd pig to the other two please16 Jul 2006 22:40 GMT2
I have, well my daughter has, 2 female pigs who have been together for
one year. She is thinking of adding a third.
I know one of the pigs at times is dominant over the other. I guess the
social issue would change with another pig added to the equation?
Living With Other Pets16 Jul 2006 22:36 GMT1
My two guinea pigs seem to be healthy and happy, and I think one reason
is that they live with other species, i.e. a rabbit and occasionally my
cat. This is a successful living arrangement!
GPs as Pets16 Jul 2006 03:56 GMT6
The ones I have here I never went looking for as pets.  I just sort of
ended up with them.   Am wondering WHY people actually go out and get a
GP as a pet.
Please do not take offense at my asking this. I just do not understand
Sores on piggie13 Jul 2006 12:32 GMT7
Our 3 yr. old female guinea pig developed lots of lumps in her tummy.
I've read here they are usually nothing but fatty cysts and can be
removed, but don't necessarily have to be.  The vet has also confirmed
this.  We've chosen to leave them.  In November she and her two

anybody have any ideas what it might be and/or any suggestions for
treating it?

17 Day Old Orphaned GP Dying. Why??05 Jul 2006 12:30 GMT17
I have been raising an orphaned GP since its mother died a day after its
birth.  There were 2 babies, but one died on the 3rd day. :_-(
The one that died was very skinny and weak.  The survivor was healthy
looking and active.   They both were brought to me.  I did not have the
guinea pig diet04 Jul 2006 20:53 GMT2
i've just got three guinea pigs and ive been told that i can feed them
anything except lettuce, beetroot leaves, and potato, and of course
guinea pig food with vitamin c in it, but on a forum on the net i read
that i also should not feed them cabbage as it gives them wind and that
Strange behaviour!!03 Jul 2006 13:44 GMT4
Darla, my crazy guinea pig (definitely the boss of the 3) has been
acting a bit strange lately. Every couple of weeks she walks around
grumbling, shaking her little butt from side to side and trying to
mount my poor other two girls! I've read about this kind of behaviour
Guinea Pig Bite03 Jul 2006 03:34 GMT7
My male guinea pigs have been acting up and fighting the last few weeks.
Actually two out of the three have been the culprits.  One minute its
violence and the next minute there buddies again.  It a territory and
dominant things after I feed them.  The most aggressor must have ...
