Is something wrong with my vet?30 Mar 2007 17:16 GMT10
I live in a very small town (pop. 3k) and today I took my pig in for a URI.
I'd seen some of ya'll speak of "intervectin" or something like that.  When
I mentioned it to her, she'd never heard of it.  Am I dreaming?  I've never
seen this vet before so I don't know how reliable ...
rumbling male23 Mar 2007 13:05 GMT9
Last summer I got these 2 piggies (Browntje and Streepje). They were a few
months old at the time and I did not know their sex at all (obviously they
were either 2 males or 2 females because there have not been piglets).
Neither do I know anything of their history. After a bit at ...
Lost our Tansy23 Mar 2007 01:59 GMT6
We lost our Tansy this weekend.
We picked her up at an over-crowded pet store.  VERY fortunate that as
a wee young one that she wasn't pregnant at the time.  She needed some
growing and maturing time.

because in some emergencies, you can't always get to the Vet in time.

A few scabs16 Mar 2007 21:31 GMT2
My male pig has 3-4 little scabs on the middle of his back.  They can barely
be seen but one can feel them.  They're very small, hard, scabby bumps.
Apparently, they're also tender because if we touch the bumps, he tries to
bite us.  They don't ooze anything.  They're just dried ...

Well, I went to the vet last Saturday evening. Beer was in pain and
had spsms or convulsions. He pulle din his right hind leg under him.
The vet squeezed out a ball of. ehm...manuer. For a while he ahd that
problem, not producring canoes. His ...a.s...was enlarged, it didn't

Piggie Vacation Feeding Schedule Question11 Mar 2007 10:56 GMT3
the piggies are fed twice a day now.  Anyone see any harm in having
them fed just once a day for three days?
I'm finding it easier to find someone to come in once a day, twice
they just cannot do.  last year we boarded 2 of them, and that cost us

So our boy Topper has been lonely since his cage mate Timeron died.
Hasn't been eating properly, just mostly his veggies.  BUT we got him
a stuffed fish, big eyes, plump body.  We have a piggie eating his hay
and pellets again.
