I posted a while ago when I had a baby guniea pig, unfortunantly he didnt make it and passed away. My vet believed the pet shop where I got him from took him away from mum way to soon but said I'd done a good job and gave him a good short life.

in case no one has gone there yet, lots of videos.... a news report from England on guinea pig races, 3 pigs "fighting" over a cucumber,look for the young one hopping up a flight of stairs. these guys can really climb when they want to!

Sad news again. Monster after is last ordeal was fine for some time. This morning I found him in convulsions. he was sctracthing and crawling on hi side, and looked like swimming dog. All his legs were ..like bicycling and his back was in an arch. head backward.

My daughter's guinea pig has been with us about a month and I was wondering about this curious quirk. What's it all about when the animal shivers and then leaps high into the air? is it happy? Is it itchy? Is it just trying to freak me out?

Went too a pet store today and my husband and I caught a kid of about 12 holding a lovely lil guinea pig up in the air by only its ear making it shreek at the top of its poor lil lungs. My hubby a big EX Cop yelled at the kid " hey what the &^%^ are you doing you lil B*&$@!%
