brothers started fighting - what to do?28 Nov 2007 17:55 GMT7
Our two GPs are litter-brothers, and we got them in August time when they
are perhaps 4-5months old. The two boars, both un-neutered seeing as we
aren't introducing females, got on fine until maybe a month ago when they
started bickering, but nothing too serious.

know the best thing to do is go to a vet, but there are none around me that
work with "exotics" ..

Our two GPs came to us in August and have lived outsides happily so, until a
week ago - at that stage we thought we might need to bring them in due to
the cold. Unfortunately, when we did so, the two started fighting one
another. We think it is because of the smaller indoor cage ...

We have 1 ferret and 1 guinea pig (and several other pets but my question
concerns these 2) that I have kept apart so far.  Can ferrets and guinea
pigs get along?  I'm wondering if I could let them play together or if they
would fight if they were in the same place for any period of ...

Both my pigs have learned...if you sleep across the door of the hidey box
this affectively blocks the entrance and prevents the other guy sneaking in
and stealing valuables,such as carrots etc......now I call that clever !
