Is there any interest in a program for hamster genetics / breeding?  I would
like to make one, but may need some help, does anyone here use Delphi as
well?
This program may also be used for keeping track of which hamster came from

As some of you may know, my bundle of joy, Nugget was scared of his own

when we first brought him home. Over time, he had started to take treats out

 My hammie is s t r a n g e, in that if he hears or sees any people, he stops
running on the wheel, No one has ever seen him run on it.  Why do you suppose
that is?  ps. he's a Syrian. Is it shyness, scared, or does he just like his

We're coming up on the first full summer we'll be spending with hams in the
house.  We currently have a fan in each room with a hamster, but is there
anything else we should be doing or looking out for as the weather gets hot?

its not an ongoing thing... they are best friends all day then they wrestle over something like food then pals again

my hammy has a growth in chest area just brought him to vet he will staying
overnight and will be sedated 2morrow morning 4 vet to look at , vet says it
might be compacted food but i felt it and i think its a growth,

My dog went crazy Tuesday and got to Mama Whiskers cage and killed her
leaving six newborn 1day old babies.  I was fortunate enough to also have a
mousy with 13 - 4 day old babies.  Mousy adopted the hammies with no
problem.  But I wanted to get kitten formula just in case mousy ...

Well...as for Sasha (aka mamma hammy) and the babies, everything is well.  She
is moving about the cage a little more.  I was able to get a look at the babies

What is the life expectancy of a dwarf hamster?  Our is 2 1/2 yrs old and

I have a roborovski that was adopted out and I have heard the family
went with it to the vet for a checkup about something they were
worried (stuffed pouches for a couple of days).
