Our girl hamster loves biting the metal holder that the water bottle hangs in...she will also knock the bottle out of the holder and climb up into it...that is cute, but why does she chew and bite the metal bracket? she really goes at it too at night and wakes my kids up cuz

My Hammie died last nite. Words can't describe the deep sadness I feel. He's just 1 year 3 months old but he's a brave little soul who's been through much. He'd his whole underbelly red & itchy as he'd been infected with mites, but then he recovered subsequently

The lump on Patch's tummy that had gone away has returned but not in the same place. It is now just below his mouth. He also has some fur missing near one of his back legs. He is more ill than the first time. The vet thinks it is more likely to be a skin complaint that can be helped

I am new to this newsgroup, so first of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Capella and I live in Muenster in Germany. I own a little black Syrian hamster girl named Gwynneth, she is now about 8 or 9 weeks old (I got her in a pet shop, so I do not know the exact age)

I have added the last 2 baby pictures of the dwarves. They have ALL gone to live with Jane as one of the males has tested positive for diabetes.. and there were several others that were showing symptoms. All 6 babies survived, and were as cute as can be!!:)
