Am I the only one who does this?27 Sep 2003 00:39 GMT15
So I found myself at the local grocery store visiting the salad bar. I took
a small plastic container. I added cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower and green
pepper slices...no lettuce, no dressing. In the checkout line I realized
that I was in the store to get nothing other than a ...
My new hammies25 Sep 2003 09:23 GMT7
I have two dwarf hamsters (chinese) Squeaky and Boo. They are two little
sisters about 6 months old and I got them a month and a half ago.
It took me quite a while to tame them as the previous owners abused them
pretty badly (12-year-old twin boys who liked to play catch with their
Ferplast Combi Line - New Product25 Sep 2003 09:15 GMT8
I love Ferplast products but they are so hard to come by here in Canada.
They just released a new "Habitrail" type product line called Combi.  I
adore the new design--absolutely state of the art.
Here is a link, and for those who live in the UK--I envy you all to no end.

Moving roborovskis...24 Sep 2003 00:32 GMT4
I'm thinking of moving Misao (a roborovski) into Willow's old tank.
She's currently in a Ferplast Mini Duna, which is a decent enough cage,
but if I moved her into the tank I could put a thicker layer of bedding
in so she would be able to dig more, and I wouldn't have to worry ...

Scared of my hamster23 Sep 2003 08:57 GMT9
Please could you give me some advice about handling my hamster. I am
trying to tame my hamster, but I think its nearly impossible. I have had
my hamster for 3 weeks now. I left her alone for the first couple of
days that I had her, so she could get used to her new cage. Then I

Right? How about crickets and other live food intended for amphibians?

Anyone else seen this new litter/bedding from Kaytee yet???20 Sep 2003 22:27 GMT5
We just got it into our store today, it looks to be a direct competitor to
CareFresh.
One thing I like immensely about it is the total lack of any odor at all,
CareFresh always seems to have a smell to it that I'm not overly fond of.
Choking to death20 Sep 2003 09:03 GMT5
On my MSN web group, Hamsters Galore, occasionally a poster (a
different one each time) will mention that a hamster appeared to choke
to death.  No one knows on what material the hamster choked, only that
the hamster was otherwise healthy, but suddenly appeared to be choking
Meet Keera & Millie20 Sep 2003 07:50 GMT1
Here are their pictures... www.rabbitadoption.org/hamster.html
Poor Millie, she is so stressed. She keeps making a whining, whimpering sort of
sound when she is stressed. It almost sounds like a sneeze, but she isn't
actually sneezing. She's fine until she's put in a different ...
