:( how can people do it31 Oct 2003 20:12 GMT7
Just was reading a tabloid newspaper and in it there was a horrible article

Basically they had tied the poor creature to a firework and set it off :(
:( It's just awful that people can do this to another creature and feel

Crystal stands her ground31 Oct 2003 09:59 GMT4
Last night I was in the kitchen cooking when I heard a commotion coming from
this room.
I came in to find Baby, our prairie dog, inside Crystal and Sheldon`s big
plastic tub.

I just noticed that one of my hammies is infested with fleas!
Our cats had them but I thought we had taken care of that months ago. I
guess not! Looks like I get to spray the house again.
I have no way of going out until 5pm tomorrow (thursday). Is there anything

I'm very sad to say that I've accidently lost my hamster, Ichigo. I didn't
know i left the cage door wide open! Right now its 3am my time, and after
looking at websites, I've made a bucket with a ladder, food etc.
I did find a corner in the kitchen (i have a one bedroom apt) that he

Hams and other pets29 Oct 2003 14:16 GMT3
Another person's mention of cats in the same household with hamsters reminds me
of something "way back when" I was a young'un.
Many years ago, we'd acquired an albino ham - same size as a syrian - from
friends of the family who were moving to Austria. For whatever bizarre reason,
Foods29 Oct 2003 12:34 GMT5
One of my friends (another hamster lover) and I
have been debating this for 3 days. When its comes to food, we want it
to be fresh but at the same time good nutrition. At the petstore I go to
, they have the food in the little bins, and you can get however many

Almost escapes29 Oct 2003 03:52 GMT1
Last week, Chanel, one of our newest rescues, chewed through the topper on
her tank (it was a lighter weight mesh). I covered it with wire mesh and
went to bed. She somehow got through the wire and was found sitting on top
of the neighboring tank the next morning. Which was good, ...
Product wariness29 Oct 2003 03:46 GMT1
Hey all,
Just figured i would put a quick warning out about a part in a new cage i
saw and recently bought, going by a name roughly like "Hamster Dreams." The
cage is a large cage modular design . i.e. you can put one pack on top of

moment. So i believe you guys/gals can help me out on this ...

I haven't posted in awhile. Since my last post, Grizz had four babies. I gave
one away and we kept the rest which made a total of 5 hammies. Well, after they

her brother Yugi, and has two of her own ...
