I noticed today that he is getting a white spot on his back. and im fairly
sure thats he is a cambells and not a winter white. could this be
stress related or something?
im getting more worried now

can anyone recommend a water bottle that doesn't leak all over the cage? I
have tried a sippy ,regular type bottle and others that I can't remember the
name of

I just adopted a white syrian from a family friend whos young boy
has lost interest in the hamster because he was bitten by it so
i have took him in. This is the first syrian i have had. does anyone
have any pointers to give to me. i have only had and have at the moment

I have been administering the eye drops as best as i can
but his eye does not seem to be getting better. is there
anything else i can/should do???

Hi everybody. I've been lurking through here for about half a week now or
so. I just got a new hamster a week ago and she's really cute. Here's the

Can gerbils & hamsters live together in the same cage?
If yes, what/ how should the cage be like?
If i have to choose between having gerbils or hamsters, which should i

I just bought a male Black bear hamster for my kids for Christmas and just noticed today that his bottom end area (around his anus or testicles) is very large or maybe swollen. Is this normal in males? He seems other wise fine and is very active at night and eating normally. Help ...

Well, Eiko is about a year and a half old now, still running happily in her
wheel and ball. Poking her head in and out of her tubes as ever,

wood and cardboard...i never thought one would get through all of it :(

first family pet and will be missed very much. When she was at the vets
recently the vet said what a lively hamster she was. We really were
surprised at her sudden demise, but we try to convince ourselves ...
