Odometer wheel21 Jan 2004 03:30 GMT4
I have a hamster wheel with a built-in odometer that I got a few years
ago.  The wheel itself is yellow and has a solid floor, and the base
is bright pink.  There are two magnets in the wheel, and whenever one
passes the base the counter increments by one foot.  The batteries
Making cardboard structures20 Jan 2004 06:44 GMT2
I have some design ideas for making simple little cardboard houses, to toss as
they get too dirty or chewed.  I need something to attach parts together.  I
won't use staples, or paper clips, of course. Tape also sounds like a bad idea.

Why is my hamster chewing her cage bars? 20 Jan 2004 06:20 GMT6
My hamster, Elanor, chews her cage bars all night. Is she trying to
shorten her teeth, or is she trying to escape?
Which CritterTrail cage?20 Jan 2004 06:07 GMT12
Would you recommend these cages?  Are they a pain to clean?
I was looking at CritterTrail2 cage, but also the CritterTrail X model with the
exercise wheel seperate on top.
Any opinions on one being better than the other?

Things to chew19 Jan 2004 09:55 GMT5
I'm unclear about what is to be avoided, and what is to be encouraged with
chewing, so as to keep their teeth from growing too long.
Wood? Plastic? Cardboard?
I want to make shelters, hiding places, ramps to climb, shelves.

Well Hershey is in the process of giving birth. She's had three so far. I
heard squeaks coming from the cage and knew it wasn't her, it sounded too
'small' so I turned on the light and there they were. She was bred on the
1st of January. It's only the 16th..... Does this seem a ...

Coco photo18 Jan 2004 22:19 GMT8
This is my best photo so far. I can't blame the camera or the hamster for
the fact that all the other pictures seem to be of an empty cage or just a
tail! I think Coco doesn't like hanging about while I mess about.
Anyway this link should work
Neew Hammie Streaming Video18 Jan 2004 21:30 GMT6
OK, I finally completed most of the final product and I must say it came out
way better than I has ever hoped. The full lenght Hammie movie is around 34
minutes long and would not fit on any one of my servers. I have seven
allowing 25 megs each so I uploaded part one to one server ...
