Tazoo has had quite an adventure these past two days.  He was banging away on
his wheel in the middle of the night, so I put his cage in the bathroom (I
really need to grease that thing).  I thought about putting him in the bathtub,
but thought it might get cold, so I had him up on ...

Coco settles in06 Jan 2004 20:25 GMT6
Our new hamster Coco seems to be settling in nicely. She does some things
very differently to Zippy but some things seem to be the same Coco is also
fascinated by the sound of our bread machine. On the dough cycle it does
sound just like a hamster running in a wheel. Coco is already ...

My nephew has a hamster and recently it has stopped eatign regularly and is now
making a "hiccup" sound. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
Thanks so much,

Basically Hammy now has a new wheel, as well as a ball that he seemed to
really enjoy tonight!
Pregnant hamster...?05 Jan 2004 21:42 GMT8
I believe Hershey is pregnant... I seen something that looked like a dried
spec of milk on her nipple, is this possible? She also got chubbier since we
got her 12 days ago. Tonight, I took the wheel out of her cage as it suggest
on some websites. She's extremely hyper. She looks ...
Picking up my hamster05 Jan 2004 04:42 GMT3
Hello, I've just got a hamster for Christmas.
I think she hates me. She's always running away from my hand when I want to
pick her up.
My mum is able to pick her up and all my friends.

A new addition to the Hamster Horde....03 Jan 2004 23:44 GMT18
After April's recent passing, we were down to 13 hams here, which is more
than enough under most circumstances.
Today however I brought home a ham that his owner couldn't take with her on
a move across country.  If we couldnt take it at the store, her other option
Wheel sizes?02 Jan 2004 22:37 GMT14
After doing some extensive measuring *G*, I'm trying to figure out what size
wheel I *should* be getting for Hammy. Right now he has a 5 3/4 diameter
wheel.  I think I can fit up to a 7" wheel in the same location, but I'm not
sure if that will be big enough.  If 7" isn't enough, ...
Are we gonna be looking for a first born hammie for the New Year02 Jan 2004 19:55 GMT14
Who will be the first to announce the  arrival of the FIRST newborn hammie
of 2004? Will it be Jody? It just might. I believe she is the most likely
candidate. If so she will have to choose with one that was probably the
first born of the litter. Who else might it be if not Jody? ...
Goodbye to the lost02 Jan 2004 13:03 GMT3
I just wanted to say goodbye to the year as it crosses over. I also wanted to
take a moment to say goodbye to all hams who have crossed over the bridge this
year. So many, too many to name individually for fear I would forget one. My
sympathies are with each owner who has lost ...
Say hello to Coco02 Jan 2004 12:50 GMT8
My son decided that what we needed was a hamster as we all missed Zippy so
much, so after Christmas we went down to our local petstore. Matthew wanted
one that looked like Zippy ie a long haired sable female. Well as seems to
be the case with hamsters another one appealed and he ...
sad news02 Jan 2004 12:41 GMT16
This morning our precious Angel crossed over.
She was just a tiny, sweet baby when we got her a little over two years ago.
Andrea named her Angel because thats what she was. Out of many to choose
from,
