Sometimes people who read our Hamster Tales site (PLUG: http://www.cafebongo.com/hamstertales/) email us to ask hamster questions. We try to answer them if we can and point people to the newsgroup and some other resources.

Shes still hanging in there. I think her legs are slowly improving but shes still v weak. But otherwise her normal happy self. Given her a bigger loo jar to aid turn around. 2 nights ago she still had that "lump" in her pouch and it really started

I am of need of all your expert advice on the following bedding. It is called Woody Pet and it sounds really good. It has been made out of different types of wood pulp that has been completely extracted of any oils--much like paper pulp.

I have had Coco (and another female, Vanilla) for about a month now. When I first saw them at the pet store, they looked healthy, active, curious and fur soft and silky. Now, Coco's fur around the neck, underneath her and around her rear look wet, as if she got a few water sprays ...

The supplier for small animals where I work shipped us a dwarf hamster last week. This wouldnt be so odd except that most of the ones we get meet the minimum size/weight requirement and then some.

So, things did not go as smoothly as I had planned when switching Pinky from her temporary home in the Habitrail to a nice roomy aquarium tank. While she was in the Habitrail, she loved to sit, eat, sleep and generally hang out in the wheel that attaches to the side.
