Chew Bar!30 Apr 2004 05:06 GMT22
Hi, My hamster likes to chew at the wire cage bars, which is really noisy.
She's got one of those kind of powdery breeze block chew stones from the pet
shop, but doesn't use it much. I don't think it's hard enough.
Now I've noticed her lower teeth are looking bigger.
Sad news - Bundle29 Apr 2004 21:51 GMT13
The sloppiest, cuddliest, most loving hamster I've ever known has finally
made her trip across the Rainbow Bridge.
When I got back from work Sunday morning Bundle was waiting for me as usual.
When I picked her up her breathing was rattly and her little heart pounding.
Pet stores laws in NY?29 Apr 2004 07:39 GMT2
I am looking for information on whether or not New York state has laws on
the minimum amount of space that pet stores are required to give small
animals that they have for sale. Also, are there laws on the cleanliness and
safety of cages for small animals?

Sick Hamster28 Apr 2004 22:40 GMT3
I am still giving the baytril to the mom and babies and they are eating and
drinking water, but the smallest one still doesn't look that good. When he
first got sick his eyes started to close, and they have been like that
since. They are both closed all the way, and I can see the ...
hand taming28 Apr 2004 16:29 GMT9
New to hamsters.  What's the best way to get them hand tamed? to voluntarily
get in your hand and not eat it off.
TIA

Hi, i have been checking out hamsters for a new pet. I saw some cute
'european black' hamsters at the pet store so i researched them on the
internet. According to what i have read the true european blacks are
vicious and get to be 12 inches long. There is a Syrian hamster called a
Hamster Webcam Recommendations?27 Apr 2004 20:57 GMT1
I'm thinking of setting up a webcam on my hamster, so that we can keep any
eye on him when we're out of the house.
He lives in an expanded Rotastak Maxi Tunnel-of-Fun, so the cam would
probably have to focus through the clear plastic.

Hi. I had two hamsters. We had one pass away today. The saddest in our
family is our 18 pound cat Shaker. Ice Cream the hamster was not sick for
long and thankfully went pretty fast. Our other hamster is Fudge. As you can
tell we don't have any diet hamsters. I am not sure what kind ...

I have a mom hamster and only two babies left. One died two days ago and I
had one put to sleep today. There are no vets near where I live that treat
them, and I don't know what to do to help them. I've been giving them dri
tail but I hear it's not too good. Someone please help me.
The New Hamster Palace!27 Apr 2004 07:31 GMT5
Yay!
Today I had a ritual throwing out of that awful SAM cage that Basil has been
living in for his two months with us.  Though it was full of places for him
to explore it was too small, he had moved out of his house behind his wheel
