Should hamsters have salt of not?31 May 2004 05:17 GMT14
IF salty products are bad for our hamsters, how come they sell those salt
wheels for hamsters??
When Hamtaro & I were new to each other.
I admit I did buy/try/return the product.
My Idea for my Male Robs New Cage!31 May 2004 03:44 GMT4
Ever since the Roborovski Pups arrived I've been trying to think of ways to
cage them all since I'm kinda lacking space at the moment. Well I bought a
couple of tubs a few days ago and this is the end result....

dead about 5 minutes ago, It doesn't look like he suffered
He was only about half as big as his other siblings & I kept hoping He would
catch up....... He was snowy white & very gentle
Hi :(27 May 2004 09:51 GMT46
Hi. My name is John and I'm a Hamsterholic. I frequently find myself up at
all hours of the night trying to gain access to at least one of my hamsters
to see if I can coax some playtime. I find I can not control my obsessions
to the verge of being out of control. I am in search of a ...
building materials27 May 2004 05:32 GMT9
I have visited many websites suggested here, and am keen to improve Lorry's
surroundings, I have an idea to add a rope bridge and a few other bit's to
keep him entertained, but was a little unsure of what materials I could
safely use in his cage, as It's bound to get a good chew. I ...
Casper sore tum :(26 May 2004 19:20 GMT3
I just wanted to post that we're taking one of our marshmellows to the vets
tomorrow.  Casper has a lump on his tummy that has some blood were he looks
like he's scratched and caught an infection.  Thankfully he appears to be in
no distress or pain, so hopefully is just a case of ...
Hamster Cages26 May 2004 19:04 GMT23
I'm starting a cage gallery for my own hamster website and I wondered if
anyone on here wanted to submit a picture for it? You don't have to have a
fancy cage or anything. Just send the pictures to
webmaster@hamster-heaven.co.uk and I'll put them up as soon as I can. You

For those of you that expressed an interest, I suppose I've completed
my mini photo diary of Mrs Chinese Dwarf and her new babies.

Male or female??25 May 2004 22:01 GMT6
Okay, I've tried once again to determine if Pokey is a male or female. I
compared the two. (Gumby is very obviously a male, plus he's noticeably
larger than Pokey) Pokey only has one obvious hole down there, and it seems
to be rather large in comparison to Gumby's. Gumby only seems ...
location, location, location25 May 2004 21:31 GMT7
I am a bit worried that our Syrian hamster "Lorry" is not getting enough
attention, we have had him just over a week, and his cage is set up in my
daughters bedroom. Whenever any of us goes upstairs, we always have a peek
in on him and stay a while, and we are at the training stage ...
RIP P.J. - 03/26/03 to 05/24/0425 May 2004 13:28 GMT6
Early this morning we lost our little P.J.
She was brought home after having her back torn open by another ham at our
store and me picking up the vet bill to have it stitched up rather than let
the store pay to put her down.
New Hamster Pictures25 May 2004 08:34 GMT6
I went to the pet store today and found out that they do have Syrians. They
had 20 or so together in the same place, living together. I asked the store
owner if they were Syrians and he said that they were teddy bear hamsters. I
explained that often, Syrians are called teddy bears, ...
