Just weighed in the hamsters.  I do it every now and again to make sure Bam
is doing OK (she's a very secretive eater), especially now she's getting
that bit older.  Her weight is a constant 160g (about 5.5oz).  She's on the
large side, but not fat!!

Hi guy's,
we have just changed our 6 month old hamsters cage and it seems to be
scratching all the fur from its belly just above its groin. do you think
this caused by stress from the cage change?

I was waiting to hear from the manager from Petco and he called today.
The little silver/gray hamster that I had picked out but noticed that he had
wettail passed away today. I was so sad since I had already fell in love
with his little face. I even named him Peanut. At least the ...

He now has a photo album for anyone who wants to have a look.

My sister has a guine pig that is out of food (& can't get to store until
likely Monday or Tuesday).  Is it OK to give hamster food to it since a
guine pig is somewhat like a big hamster that squeeks allot?

One of my hammies appears to have VERY large eyes almost bulging out of her
head. Scary to say the least. All five from same litter will be 3 next month
and all seem very healthy with no other signs of aging. Does anyone know of

Every time I go into the hamster room the door to Line's cage is open.
Mysteriously I always find her sleeping in her tank even if the door is
open. I have connected a 60 liter fish tank and a normal wire cage. It has
never been a problem before. It just started when I put her on ...

We've had her for a year today, making her about 18 months old.  Will treat
