Hamster Weight25 May 2004 08:09 GMT2
Just weighed in the hamsters.  I do it every now and again to make sure Bam
is doing OK (she's a very secretive eater), especially now she's getting
that bit older.  Her weight is a constant 160g (about 5.5oz).  She's on the
large side, but not fat!!

Hamster food for guine pigs?20 May 2004 23:02 GMT10
My sister has a guine pig that is out of food (& can't get to store until
likely Monday or Tuesday).  Is it OK to give hamster food to it since a
guine pig is somewhat like a big hamster that squeeks allot?
Hammie's eyes are bulging.20 May 2004 21:29 GMT7
One of my hammies appears to have VERY large eyes almost bulging out of her
head. Scary to say the least. All five from same litter will be 3 next month
and all seem very healthy with no other signs of aging. Does anyone know of
any condition that would be present? Usually she is ...

usenet group during those times and I am grateful to those people who
had helped me with questions about hamsters. Thank you all.
I have a sad announcement to make. My beloved hamster named Timit
Uhh.. Mating?20 May 2004 20:02 GMT2
Oookay.

from the same litter, and are about 7 weeks now. Gumby has definite signs
that the's a male. Pokey, however, is not. But I've had them for around
Hamster opening cage door20 May 2004 10:30 GMT4
Every time I go into the hamster room the door to Line's cage is open.
Mysteriously I always find her sleeping in her tank even if the door is
open. I have connected a 60 liter fish tank and a normal wire cage. It has
never been a problem before. It just started when I put her on ...
