| Spunky's Gone! | 15 May 2004 21:31 GMT | 5 |
I just wanted to let everyone know that my little Spunky passed away today. A few days after I had stopped her meds because I thought she was fine, she got sick again. I tried everything I could and I was giving her the baytril every day for about a week, and I had been giving her ...

| Hamster with nose bleeds long | 14 May 2004 21:44 GMT | 4 |
We all (well I do) look to this news group for advice on our hammies so I jus thought I'd share my story of Leo. A few weeks ago he crawled out of bed covered in blood. He'd been to the vets a week before (for a cold and clicking) and fallen off the table twice

| Hamsters & Hermit Crabs = Okay? | 13 May 2004 04:11 GMT | 15 |
I was just given a pet hermit crab, who my niece bought from a pet store Wednesday. They had "just" arrived. He's been at her home in his own new cage. He's very active & healthy. Do any of you have a Hermit Crab?

| Weird hamster behaviour? | 11 May 2004 20:01 GMT | 13 |
Since some time, our hamster tends to empty whatever he has stashed in his cheeks right on the spot. So if we take him out of his cage and put him on the couch, he'll go to a corner and dump everything he has right there. Any idea why they do this?

| Another health Q | 09 May 2004 19:50 GMT | 8 |
OK, after an antibioic treatment, the wet tail is gone - but now I have three new concerns. 1) The hams right eye seems a tiny bit stuck. After the ham wakes up, it won't open the right eye as quickly as the left, but after a while

I just got the wodent wheel i sent off for and i love it already. It says that it is the olny wheel recommended by the aspca and that 2 percent of sales go to the aspca humane program. I got the small one but it is plenty large enough for my hammy and it fits my 20 gallon

| New Roborovskis | 08 May 2004 21:42 GMT | 2 |
HELP! We're overrun with hamsters (slight exaggeration). After having 2 Syrian hamsters (at different times) we decided on having 2 dwarf Roborovskis. We chose 2 males from the shop only to find, a couple of months later, that one of the boys is a girl. We now have a mixed pair of ...

| Hamster Nails | 08 May 2004 04:04 GMT | 6 |
My hamster Nita seems to have ripped a nail on one of her arms. It has ripped, but is not totally gone, it's still hanging on. Should I just leave it like so, or try and do something about it? Riss

| Hammie as wet nurse? | 07 May 2004 14:32 GMT | 14 |
Has a hammie ever been used as a wet nurse for any other animals? I would love to find out if this is possible as I may have found some baby chip monks without a mother and if there was a mommy hammie with a brood would it be possible to add one or two to her family?
