RIP Basil12 Aug 2004 22:27 GMT9
After a long night Basil passed away in my arms this morning.  He went
steadily downhill since going to the vets yesterday and stopped breathing
about half an hour ago.  His little life was short but sweet.

RIP Pinky - 01/29/04 to 07/28/0412 Aug 2004 22:25 GMT12
Today I get to write one of the saddest obituaries I've ever had to write
for one of our hams.
Our dear little Pinky passed away last night in Judy's hands.  She was only
with us for 1 day shy of 6 months, but those 6 months will always be in my

I have a couple of hamster-care books here at home that say it's safe to
feed hamsters vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower.
The one thing the book doesn't say, is if they should be cooked first.
Can someone tell me if I should cook things first before giving them to my

Anyone for Cricket?10 Aug 2004 06:44 GMT6
Is it true that Hamsters like to eat crickets?
My local pet shop sells them, and I think Brian would really enjoy a couple.
Is there any drawbacks to feeding her one?
Thanks

I've managed to upload some of the pictures of our hams, Cappuccino and
Honey Comb, and put them in an album on Webshots.

THE 2004 HAMSTER OLYMPICS09 Aug 2004 19:42 GMT5
The Hamster Olympics is back for 2004!  Yay!
If your hamster were to enter the Hamster Olympics, in which area
would he or she "bring home the gold"?  Would it be Night-sprinting?
Cage-gnawing?  Nut-cracking?  Another category?

Hamsters are EVIL, the DEVIL created them in HELL !07 Aug 2004 18:28 GMT10
Hamsters are EVIL, they're the work of the devil, made to collect your
souls and to turn you into brainless slaves of hell.
If you like hamsters, you will lose your soul to be damned
for eternal torment in hell.Demons and devils will feast on your soul
Anyone heard of VHS video or DVD's on Hamster care ?07 Aug 2004 00:25 GMT1
I wondered if anyone had ever seen VHS videos or DVD's on how to look after
Hamsters?
If not then I am surprised no one has ever done one as I think it would sell
very well.
