We got these in at my store today, and I snagged a pack before they even hit
the sales floor.

My daughter has a very large hamster complex, one standard "Hartz" cage,
 one very large "Hartz" cage (further modified with an additional
standard "Hartz" cage, ....it has 4 levels), a "Habitrail" Safari cage
and over 20' of inter-connected tunnels, hide-outs,look-outs,etc. The ...

As you can probably guess from the title, George, my little boys 2 month old
siberian hamster went walkabouts from his cage during the night by pushing open
the door (strong little fellow).
House has been searched top to bottom but no sign of him.

Has he come home yet??

My dear little Stay-Puft has passed away....I wish I could say how nice she was
but, In fact, we called her "Demon in a cute,white,furry coat" & "El Diablo"
But I still got very attached to her simply because she was very
entertaining...She would get enraged if I didn't acknowledge ...

I hope no one minds me posting this story of Squeak a baby dove.
Since Holly and Bundles passing I havent felt ready to take on a new ham. I
bought a dovecote last year and bought 3 pairs of white doves earlier this
year  and now including surviving babies have a flock of 14.

I discovered the strangest thing the other day... my hamster likes
eating Elmer's glue! Just like kindergardeners lol. So anyways, I give
him a drop (dried of course) once in a while and he devours it. Not
sure what's in it, but it's obviously harmless to humans. I think it's

I've heard lots of bad things about homemade cages, but I decided to
make one for my russian dwarf Rocket, materials were less than $20 US.
Please tell me if this sounds like it was a bad idea (other than the
ridiculous size, 22"deep by 22" wide by 18" high):I used untreated

I have been looking all over the net about his problem, but no luck. Hopefully you guys can tell me whats going on with him.  Both of his eyes are shut by what I would assume to be mucus.  Every time I get him out of his cage, i have to wet his eyes with a wet q-tip just so he ...

I have a question as to what exactly hamsters can eat. Does anyone know what
kinds of plants are safe for hamsters can eat? What about store-bought
vegies?

I havn't posted since the New Year but at the time I mentioned that after
our hamster Zippy died we got Coco. She is very well and has been on her
holidays to a pet hotel while we were away. She is enjoying her status as
senior pet following our recent acquisition of a dog!

My hammy, who is roughly three months old, and she constantly chews on her
cage at night.  she's fine during the day, but about twelve o'clock at
night she starts givin'er.  I don't know what to do, she has a habit trail
space station cage, with a few additions, a space observatory, ...

Quick question here, my hammy nita (blackbear or syrian hamster) loves
sunflower seeds, i buy just un salted seeds in bulk and then mix them
together for her food, i was wondering though, how healthy are sunflower
seeds, i don't want to be giving her to much if they aren't good for ...
