I bought a new hamster (5 1/2 weeks old, named Sandy) for my 9 year old.
I had hamsters when I was a child but that was a long time ago so I have

It's been a while since I've had a chance to post an update... I was even

I wonder how different hamster personalities can be.
The hamster I have (a golden or Syrian hamster) is lively and seems to
enjoy her life, but I have noticed that some of her behaviour is
different from what I read is supposed to be typical hamster behaviour:
