New Addition to the Horde - Polar13 Sep 2004 07:56 GMT5
This past monday at work, I learned of a dwarf who had been brought in over
the weekend and was currently sitting in our back room awaiting adoption.
I was told he was extremely aggressive, and would bite hard if you got your
hand near him.  The associate I was speaking too showed ...
Catching an escaped hamster13 Sep 2004 04:54 GMT4
Greetings!  This morning, my daughter's hamster escaped from her cage.
I'm looking for suggestions on best ways to chatch the little
dickens!  I'm considering putting out one of those humane animal traps
near her cage.
The Shirley Letters: Another hamster tale12 Sep 2004 22:54 GMT6
Some of you (at least some of you who've been around here for awhile)

Hamsters and common cold.10 Sep 2004 13:38 GMT2
I've heard that hamsters are one of the few pets that can actually get a
common cold from humans and owners should be careful with handling and
especially kissing when they have a cold.
Well, with the cold/flu season approaching I was wondering what effect
Why should we assume Hamsters have BAD Eyesight08 Sep 2004 04:47 GMT4
I've read that Hamsters have bad eyesight & accepted it as a fact.
But how bad could it be if:
Last nite, Hamtaro pushed the bedroom jar away from the tunnel.
He jumped off the glass table ~

Bedding05 Sep 2004 18:45 GMT3
Our new hamster Sandy likes to nest in the "Petting Zone" of our
crittertrail 2 cage. But the weird thing is that at night, she pushes
all of the bedding down from the petting zone into the tube, which then
prevents her from going into the rest of the cage. I just assumed

Hope Hurricane doesn't threaten Hamtaro's place 03 Sep 2004 14:54 GMT5
We're hoping our Hamster doesn't have to experience what a hurricane is like
But tomorrow will tell whether we need to move his castle to a safer room in
the house. http://community.webshots.com/photo/118341525/118345294DQeoiX
please wish us a safe weekend.
How Far Will YOU Go to satisfy YOUR HAMSTER?!!!03 Sep 2004 14:40 GMT14
Remember Hamtaro's glass bathroom broke...
Nescafe/Taster's Choice Suddenly switched to plastic jars after 30 yrs.
And there was a MAD SEARCH for a glass jar.
Well Jason, (Mr. Pellipar's human friend: Jason, from the UK)
Ch'chla bath sand vs Ch'chla bath dust?03 Sep 2004 14:22 GMT2
When we got our two dwarf hamsters I also bought them some Chinchila bath
sand. They loved it from the start and used it often. And then I run out
so I went back to the store and, wouldn't you know it, couldn't find it
again. I checked about 4 stores now and noone seems to have it. ...
Hamster sick!  Missing toes!02 Sep 2004 21:33 GMT8
Hi all...
my son has a hamster that has been looking worse by the day, and has
frightening symptoms...  first, very large testicles (if it's a male... I
don't know, but it's the right area), secondly, he walks funny and no longer
Strange Hamster Health Problem02 Sep 2004 18:09 GMT7
I hope you can give me a bit of advice.
Our hamster, a female Syrian called Smudge, is fourteen months old. She's
active, perky, happy, and acting as she has always done; she's remained
tame, friendly and she's still enjoying her food, running around her tube,
