hi :0) i just found myself the new owner of some incredibly cute Chinese hamsters, now i've been looking them up, and some places say to never keep them 2gether, and some say it's ok as long as u keep a watchful eye and give them plenty of room (which of course i have been doing) ...

Does anyone give their hamsters these?? Supposed to be fruity flavoured pumice etc for chewing. I was a bit worried about the colourants ???

Hi. I have got a Syrian Hamster (Chocolate Brown-So Cute!). He is in a cage with 2 layers (excluding the bottom) accessable by plastic ladders. I have also got an "Igloo" for him to sleep in. The cage came with a wheel (Plastic without "rungs" so he won't hurt his

I have just seen this ad on ebay item no.4356833815. Grrrrrrrrr!!! They are selling the cage and hamster comes free. I could report it and the chances are it will get pulled off anyway - but then what happens to the poor hamster??Its probably one of these situations

We obtained our Syrian girl a week ago from a pet shop. She is housed in a Habitrail unit with a fair number of tunnels and rooms as well as an attached maze. I built a 12" high plexiglass wall around the habitat in hopes she could play "outside."

I found a small scab on my hamster's back below hip, but between the tail and hip. It is definetly red. I can't find a picture of hip spots, but could that possibly be it? Are there any ways to treat it?
