During the time that "Buster" had long claws (which have now been
clipped), he developed a spot on this nose, and a very small area of
baldness around the spot.
Its been two weeks, and it doesn't appear to be getting any

I finally managed to get some better pics of our newest little "nut".
The last one is my favorite, with him peeking up out of the wooden house he
likes.

I was wondering, hamsters like to burrow and dig, right? What would
happen if I was to add an inch or two of play sand on the bottom of my
hamster's cage and then add the aspen bedding? Would he like it or
would it just irritate him  and make a mess? Would peat moss be any

Hammy's back feet are fine. I think he trims them. But the front ones
are so long his fingers tangle together. So I decided to cut his
nails.  Each day I try for a bit until Hammy seems stressed and quit.
The first 5 trys met with no success. Today however, I resolved to
