Ok. So Snowball died and Hammy seemed depressed. What did I do? I went
out and got him a female. She likes to bite, but since my callouses
are way thicker than her teeth are long, she can't hurt me. I tamed
her in 2 days. She doesn't bite anymore. So Hammy smells this female

Cutie was in her ball for a good hour this morning and didn't poop ANY!!!!
Usually she goes alot when she is in her ball even in that short of time.
Iam worried that she may have a blockage. Is there something i can give
her or do i have to take her to the vet? Any and all help ...

Put buster into his ball last night, and let him roll around the 2

Our hamster is on his third ball as he keeps running into walls until they
break open so he can escape.

When she is in her ball, she seems happy to be running around. When she is
in her cage and running in her wheel, if she gets off her wheel to come to
the bars of cage..as if to ask who is there. When I start talking to her,
she hops back on wheel like she is trying to run away from ...

I'm making the post I was dreading.  Bam is now 3 years old.  We've had her
for 2 of those.  She is awake for about 2 hours a night now, only waking to
eat, drink and occasionally go round a few times in her wheel.  I miss
handling her all the time but I can't bear to disturb her ...

is/was?

could someone  help ! my son age 8 wants a rat or a hamster so im trying to

Why do we put bedding in our little friends cages if they are just gonna
move it all out of there way and sleep on the hard plastic floor? She has
Fresh Care (the white fluffy kind) but she did it when we had the wood
chips as well.

Does anyone know about hamster hybernation, my young baby casper, i have
just found him very cold and not moving alot, thought he was dead but his
not any ideas.

Dear Hamster Friends,
Today Robin, my sweet Roborowski hamster, crossed the rainbow bridge. :o(
Uptil yesterday he was doing fine, despite his wise and old age. He was
moving around as usual and eating well: cucumbers, courgettes, babyfood, ...

I came home from work yesterday to find both my hamsters sleeping.
Nothing unusual in that. Hammy got up and got a drink on his 2 hour
schedule. He was acting a litle sluggish, but nothing major. I noticed
that Snowball did not get up to drink. He crawled out of his barn and
