Renfield apparently went exploring last night. When I got up, part of his little tube assembly had come loose, and he was nowhere to be seen. I wasn't too worried, as there was no way he can get out of my

Squeaky is spending the night at the Vet When we brought our new hamster, Squeaky, home on 3/20/05, I noticed her poop was not typical hamster poop. It was slightly soft and brown in color. At first I thought it we had bought a hamster with wet-tail. Squeaky was

| Hammy's First Escape | 12 May 2005 21:39 GMT | 8 |
Woke up this morning and looked in on Hammy and he was not there. He had somehow gotten the cap off of his trail tube and escaped. His cage is on my dresser so I was hoping he was still on it somewhere. Nope. My room is a rodent's paradise. So many places to hide that I could

I haven't posted here before but just wanted to let anyone interested know that our little Henry is no longer with us. He was a teddy bear hamster that we've had with us since March of 2003. Not sure how old he was at that time but a few months is a good guess.

And my little Stanzie. After reading the FAQ, I was confident bringing my syrian home to Tennessee from New york would be no problem. I was prepared to get the vet statement, pay the fee, etc. I call them and this lady dictates out of a book to me of somesort that hamsters "are

| Take your hamster to the vet if you notice a change in behavior | 10 May 2005 16:59 GMT | 1 |
Our hamster Henry was put to sleep this past Monday. If I look back at his last month or two I can see a change in his behavior overall. He didn't run as much on his wheel, didn't really go anywhere in his ball and didn't eat as much as his first 2 healthy years. I thought at the ...
