Today I Came home and i found my hamster laying down i though he was sleeping but when i touched him he did not move. Hes breathing and his eyes have some sort of goopy thing on them and everytime i move him he kind of moves his legs and twiches his nose. I dont kknow if hes dying

Hi people I just learned yesterday that Hammie probably has a cancer of the adrenal glands and possibily a tumor on his belly. Hammie's immune system is going to be weakened and he's probably going to go a little bald. :-(

Hello everyone, I'm new to the group, well this is my 2nd posting! We've got an 8 week old syrian, had him nearly 3 weeks. Sometimes he comes to the door when we open it and he'll take food from our fingers, other times he runs away and hides, anybody know why?

Last night Prailene died. He was a really sweet Syrian hamster. A light brownish caramel color. The same as the sweet mexican candy his was named after. He was over three years old.

Can anyone help? I've got an 8 week old hamster. I can get him to take food out of my fingers, but if I put food on the palm of my hand, he runs away. He always comes to the door of the cage when I open it, but runs away if I put my hand in. How do I get him to go on my hand.
