Just to let you know that Pets At Home are currently experiencing an
epidemic of Wet Tail among Syrians in their stores in the South of England.
This has arisen because of the recent change in policy to buy in from only

Pretty sure I saw something about this here recently, but I couldn't
track it down, so please forgive any repetition: Our 18-ish-month-old
Syrian hamster woke up today with a red, crusty ring around one eye. I
seem to remember that being potentially serious, but I don't remember

My hamster seems to hide her food in the upper part of her cage under her
bedding but will go to the lower level and root around for food as if she
is hungry. Should i give her more food knowing she has a bunch hidden?

Bout mount ago i got a hamter n he got lost he may b dead..  but i have
