i found him yesterday in his lockout laying in the center..he was a very old hamster.he was grey and white.i will miss him dearly.he was losing his fur since last yr. well i still getting over the shock he is gone.besides i will bury him with 2 pasted hamsters today has passed on.

Has your hamster ever died from eating kaytee brand hamster food? It is what I am currently feeding my hamster, however there are some people that suspect ethoxquin toxicity in the food.

I have a Silent Spinner Exercise Wheel, Regular (6.5" diameter) I thought maybe a bigger one would be better... but I notice the next size up is 12 inches... to big Do you think the 6.5 is big enough for the male black bear ?

After listening to a hamster knawing at its cage for hour on end I've considered an aquarium for a cage but wouldn't the little critter knaw at the silicon sealant within the aquarium? Perhaps there's an aquarium designed just for non-water usage.
