Well I was in my local petshop stocking up on supplies (I have rabbits and
gerbils as well as my two russian hamster boys)
Anyway, I had a dream last night that there was a hamster boy on his own
and I took him own, so anyway im in the petshop (which is a fantastic

We have one of those wheels that attaches on the outside of the cage on one
of the tube ports...  About 3 weeks ago Little Bear  aka  Bugger Butt moved
into the wheel... bringing his bedding into it, and unfortunately his food
to, so when he takes his home for a spin it get noisy ...

She wasnt even 2 and in apparent perfect health. I'm more shocked than
anything else at the moment.
It was a work night last night and at 19.15   I changed both girls loo jars

Is this animal cruelty?

Hi, both my girlfriend and I have Syrian hamsters, and both of them purr/hum
when they're finding their way around outside their cages.  Is this some
sort of echo-location ability that hamsters have?  I don't hear them doing
it in their cages or in their balls, only when crawling on ...

I've recently moved to the New York City vicinity, and I'm wondering
where I can get a pair of roborovski hamsters? I had a pair while
living in China, and they're just the cutest! Any help would be
