and added freshies to their food bowls. Fudge came out to check on her new
Hamsters and sleeping den23 Jun 2006 23:54 GMT4
This is our second hamster. There wouldn't have been a second hamster but my
wife and daughter kinda ganged up on me.
Our first hamster (a male) seemed to be really well house trained and we
provided a small 'toilet' with cat litter in inside his cage and he happily
Hamster Personalities/Behavior21 Jun 2006 22:05 GMT2
I currently own 1 female Syrian and 1 male Syrian.  Naturally, they
each live alone in their own habitats.
My female hamster is quite calm and lazy.  Even during her nocturnal
hours, she prefers sleeping, hiding out, doesn't use her funnels,
RIP Speedy - 11/17/04 to 06/14/0621 Jun 2006 00:10 GMT5
Sometime during the night, we lost the last of the original triplets I

purring/humming/vibrating hamsters16 Jun 2006 00:35 GMT3
Hi, both my girlfriend and I have Syrian hamsters, and both of them purr/hum
when they're finding their way around outside their cages.  Is this some
sort of echo-location ability that hamsters have?  I don't hear them doing
it in their cages or in their balls, only when crawling on ...

Need advice on ham who's lost some teeth......12 Jun 2006 08:51 GMT10
It would seem that somehow our dear little Nugget has lost his upper teeth.
His lower teeth are intact and seem solid, but the upper ones are completely
gone at this point.
He's still eating as best he can, though since we've noticed we've been
Wire gnawing10 Jun 2006 19:02 GMT7
Our hamster seems to spend quite a lot of time gnawing away at the wires.

being done to grind down her teeth?
This is our second hamster and neither of them seemed to be at all

Roborovski hamsters?03 Jun 2006 04:04 GMT2
I've recently moved to the New York City vicinity, and I'm wondering
where I can get a pair of roborovski hamsters? I had a pair while
living in China, and they're just the cutest! Any help would be
appreciated, thanks!
