Tonight our dear little Butters passed away while Judy held him.
We came home from work to hand out tofu and he didn't come out when we
knocked on his house, looking in we could see him barely breathing and not
moving.

I lurk a lot, I think the last time I posted was about my two Russian dwarf
hamsters two years ago called Lenin (Because they are Russian) and
McCartney... it's such a thin line between clever and stupid.
Anyway, I have just got a new pair of female Chinese dwarf hamsters and they
Home Brew Hamster Food15 Sep 2006 10:45 GMT35
I am tired of the commercial rip off blend of hamper food. These guys that
add those heavy pellets that don't even get eaten really aggravate me.

cage.  For the past couple weeks, Chewy has been stuffing her outhouse
with her aspen bedding.  She stuffs the outhouse so full that she can't
even get inside it later.  This week, however, not only is she stuffing
Shredded paper as bedding13 Sep 2006 01:31 GMT7

bedding, yet everywhere I look on google, it's being suggested.
What's the situation?

Hammie removing shavings to pee on cage11 Sep 2006 01:39 GMT2
So our little devil likes to remove all of the shavings from his pee corner
and pee right on the plastic.  We tried a potty thing but he moves that away
too...  makes for a smelly cage...  any advice...  He also stands on his
front legs and pee's upside down... no big deal   ...

Novice Hamster Owner looking for advice before buying09 Sep 2006 19:47 GMT11
I've never owned  a hamster before, and thought that I should get
some advice from some -more "experienced' hamster owners before going
out and buying the most eye-catching a hamster toys.  I plan to get a
Syrian hamster. But am concerned about what type of cage is the best
RIP Solomon08 Sep 2006 16:47 GMT11
It is with a sad heart that I tell you, all my friends, of Solomon`s death.
You know he was slowing down and was just about to have his 2nd birthday.
Andrea was leaving for college this past morning and noticed him under his
water bottle.
