I'm new to the whole groups thing and was hoping someone here can give me some advice. My hamster (roughly 2 years old) has been drinking a lot of water and peeing lately. From the stuff I've found online, this seems to be a sign of him being diabetic.

hey ive had my hamster for a very long time, he is my baby!! ive cleaned his cage but he still smells like amonia. i dont know what to do! he is also storeing his food where he sleeps and i think is also using the bathroom in the same place also. if anyone could please help

I think it's silly when I read Hammy Thanksgiving or Christmas or whatever. So, Let me be the first to say Hammy Thanksgiving!!! I truely hope everyone has a nice time with their families and friends. Save a tiny piece of pumpkin pie for your hamsters, they love that!

Tanner has finally chosen to cross the Rainbow Bridge...sometime between midnight last night and now (11:49 am). He's no longer suffering and neither am I (from watching this decline after his stroke nearly 2 weeks ago).
