Greetings; I fondly remember a childrens show I loved when I was young called Hammy Hamster. It starred various live rodents and was cleverly done. That show was one of my favourites.

I have had three hamsters in 3 months that were healthy, happy and active. The then just one day latter they die. Slow breathing and no energy are the only symptoms. No hair lost, no wet tail, no weight loss.

Just subscribed to the group so thought I'd say hey. I have 3 Campbells Dwarves and 1 Syrian, as well as 2 gerbils, 2 guinea pigs, a cat and fish. I have had up to 3 syrians, 4 dwarves, plus all the rest hehe. Have to try to keep the numbers down a bit at the moment

My dwarf hamsters had babies last week. I thought I had two females, but I didn't. Do I need to move the father hamster to a different cage, or is it safe to keep them all together? So far the father has left them alone.

My flat mate just returned from a trip and came into my room. When my hamster saw him, he instantly freezed and stood still for minutes. At first we found it funny and thought he was just a bit scared to see him again, but when Hamsti (my girlfriend is responsible for the name! ;)
