Saturday I got 2 new hamsters - 1 Dwarf Djung and 1 Robo.  Both female.  The
Djung lets me hold her whenever I want.  She did hiss at me a few times when
I first got her.  The Robo is still pretty shy. She will take food from me

Has anybody ever gotten mold in their cages?  It happened once to my little
one and I'm still not sure why.  I wasn't sure if it was just a bad bag of
bedding or what.  I have bought the same bedding and same color for 9 months

When Hamster gets bored I've been putting her in a cardboard box that's tall
and fairly narrow -- maybe 1' by 1' and 2" tall.  I fill it with shavings
but not so high that she can leap out.  Then I mix food in with the shavings
all the way to the bottom.  She burrows around in there ...

Greetings All - Our male teddy bear (?) hammie has had one or two
strokes, walks wobbly, rolls sometimes, & drinks through his water bottle in

I feel very protective with hammie...  I never let him sit on my shoulder or
