my two female hamsters started fighting 3 days ago. i have them only for a
week, but at the beginning they were fine, but now they are even biting each
other:( i had to separate them.
is there a chance that they will stop fighting? is there a way to make them

If I didn't know better, I'd think that Johannes (syrian male) "told" Karma
(syrian male in different aquarium) how to escape!
As I had posted a short bit ago, Johannes had escaped and was "re-captured."
Yesterday I watched Karma try to escape his aquarium!

my "happy ear" gave birth to around 6 babies this morning but she
refused to feed them and later i saw her eating the babies. now there
are pieces of tiny arms and bodies all over the cage. i can't
understand why she did this. she delivered lots of babies many times

Has anybody used a hamster harness? I have seen some online and was
wondering if anybody has ever used or even made one, and if they are

I've been keeping wine bottle corks for a friend of mine to make some
hand made decorations.  She's recently told me she doesn't need any
more, at least for a while.  Are they appropriate material to give to
hamsters and/or jerbils to play with and chew on? I've got a few dozens
