Examine, Diagnose And Treat Your Pet At Home26 Jun 2007 18:33 GMT1
"Regular" veterinary care has lost it's effectiveness over the years,
and in some cases is causing illness in our pets.
The truth is that Veterinarians have STRONGLY discouraged pet owners
from treating their pets at home.
Can I keep two hamsters together?26 Jun 2007 02:00 GMT12
our 11 year old daughter is asking to keep a hamster (or 2). We've been told
that hamsters don't live that well together and I was wondering what the
truth is behind that:
Is it just males?
Ahh!20 Jun 2007 22:03 GMT4
One of my hamsters had another litter of five hamsters, but about a week
and a half ago, another hamster had a little of four hamsters (these are
all dwarf hamsters, BTW) and so the "kids" won't leave the newborns
alone! The carry them to all parts of the cages (I have three ...

Meg is gone13 Jun 2007 01:17 GMT6
She was the sweetest hamster.  Some say only people have souls but I'm not
sure that's true.  She definitely had a personality.  She was always happy
to see us.  She would come up to the bars of the cage whenever we called
her.  She'd stand there on her back legs looking at us.  ...

Should I do what looks like the right thing?11 Jun 2007 14:52 GMT3
Some of you may remember that our Meg is getting older.  I took her to the
vet a few weeks back.  They could not find anything wrong with her and
chaulked it up to old age.  She did get a little better but now she's bad
again. Now she seems to be suffering.  She can barely move ...
hamsters and sand10 Jun 2007 12:54 GMT3
I was wondering if regular sand, from beach or the bags one can purchase
at a building supply, are safe for hamsters. I am currently using the
bath sand in a plastic container, and Miss Cheeks loves it. She digs at
the bottom like a crazy ham, which made me think she might like
potty training09 Jun 2007 16:08 GMT1
My hammies always urinate on the same spot and I've been reading one can
use that to make them use a potty.  I've been having a look at different
comercial ones on the 'net and am wondering whether (which) make sens to
buy them.
Where to get fancy hamsters05 Jun 2007 01:23 GMT7
I've been looking at those beautiful long-haired fancy hamsters on the 'net
and was wondering where to get one.  I'm in California.  Do I need to go to
a hamster expo or a specialty breeder or what?  I know they don't sell them
at pet stores, or at least I've never seen any there.  ...
