Sorry to post Yet Another Hamster Obit (YAHO), but my wonderful female
syrian Ham*Star passed away early this morning.
She was a grey and white "dalmation" type and won the San Diego Petco
Hamster Derby in March of this year.  She had slowed dramatically the past

So a few weeks ago we were out shopping for supplies when we came across a
little black dwarf who was so scruffy he was cute, like a little black bear

Just dropped in to see how everyone and their hams are doing.
As of a month ago we are now living in a stone cottage in Scotland. Its
chaos, boxes everywhere. I'm still between hamsters. We will have to get
straight here first before I can start looking for a new wee friend (or

just to say weve still got rupert with us,shes eating and drinking and being
as active as she can though its becoming more of a struggle for her but shes
not giving up.she still trys to do what shes always done which is giving us
a few heart stopping moments.

Rupert is 27 months old and i dont think we shall have her for much
longer,her back legs are not good and shes quite skinny now,shes had a check
over at the vets and she doesnt seem to be suffering,

Hi there everyone.  This is my first post to this group, but I've been
lurking for a while.  Even though the activity isn't what it used to
be the posts are all of high quality and I hope traffic picks up

we have just returned from the late night emergency vet with our little
Campbell dwarf called Billy. he has been on a course of baytril for quite a
while now for sore, slightly swollen legs but yesterday we noticed that he
wasn't as active as normal and today he was 10 times ...

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think my hamster ate poison when she escaped
from her cage!!! anyone know  how can you tell?!?!?!
